Five things

So my five things this week are the top five things I’ve been dying to get my hands on. Here they are!

1. Suspenders. I have wanted a pair of suspenders for forever! They’re just such a cute little accessory to add to a myriad of different outfits.

I also love that when I typed “suspenders” into google images, like 289482948 pictures of Chuck Bass popped up.

2. Oxfords. Or brogues. Either will do. I finally figured out the difference between the two. Apparently if they have the perforated holes…. they’re considered brogues. I was inspired to invest in a pair after seeing one of my favorite bloggers Monkey Face sporting a pair from Aldo, seen here. J’adore the preppy look of brown oxfords paired with colored socks.

3. Vintage TLR camera. Every time I go to an antique store I search for the perfect one, but have yet to find exactly what I’m looking for. I love the look of them, especially the Rolleiflex, and the way you look down and use the double lenses to snap your shot. Fingers crossed I’ll find my camera soul mate one day out shopping, but I fear I might have to cheat and just buy on off ebay.

4. Turban Headband. They’re impossibly adorable, aren’t they? I love the bright red one worn by friend and fellow blogger Bekah of Matters of Merry Making, seen here.

5. Ian Somerhalder. Can a person be a contender for “Five things?” I think so! I’ve been drooling over him nonstop since Vampire Diaries started up and after last night’s episode, I nearly fell out of my chair at his ridiculous good looks and bad boy persona. Ian is also a dedicated activist and animal lover. Sexy and compassionate? Yes please :)
